About This Talk
Django has now been around for seventeen years, and in that time it’s gone from strength to strength. But sometimes, the road was not so clear, and our future still isn’t - so let’s take a look back at some of Django’s early problems, what it takes to grow an open-source project, and what Andrew’s excited about in the future.

Andrew is a long-time Django contributor - author of South, Django Migrations, and Channels - and works at Astronomer.io.
In his spare time, he enjoys piloting light aircraft, archery, writing video games, and trying to see as many mountains and as much snow as he possibly can.
